يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ * ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَّرْضِيَّةً * فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي * وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي

صدق الله العظيم

With hearts believing in Allah’s decree and destiny, QIIB mourns the passing of the nation's great leader, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who passed away this morning, Sunday, Muharram 27, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 12, 2026 AD.

May Allah Almighty bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the late Father Amir, and grant him eternal peace in His spacious paradise among the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—and what excellent companions they are. May Allah reward him abundantly for his historic and noble deeds dedicated to his homeland and nation, and grant us all patience and solace.

Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return."
