QIIB launches special promotional campaign for Visa credit cards

     New cardholders can earn up to 40,000 QIIB Points

QIIB has unveiled a special promotional campaign for Visa credit card holders, enabling them to earn up to 40,000 QIIB points.

These points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, including flight tickets, hotel bookings, car rentals, travel packages and Qatar Airways’ ‘Avios’ points, and Ooredoo’s Nojoom points.

As part of the campaign, which runs until January 31, 2025, all customers applying for new Visa credit cards from QIIB (Wajaha, Deyafa, Platinum) will receive “welcome rewards” in the form of QIIB points, subject to the specific terms and conditions. These include a minimum spend requirement to qualify for the welcome reward or to double the reward points.

Through the campaign, customers who obtain a new Visa credit card from QIIB, will receive a welcome bonus of up to 20,000 QIIB points upon spending QR1,000 with the new card within a month of its issuance.

The reward amount can double to 40,000 points, if the minimum threshold for spending is met according to each category of the QIIB’s credit cards.

On the occasion of launching the campaign,  Mr. Talal al-Jaidah, Head of Banking Products stated, "QIIB remains committed to providing the best products, services, and promotions. The reward points will be added to the customers' QIIB points balances once the campaign ends.
