Commenting on the occasion, Dr al-Shaibei said: “I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Organising Committee of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 and the FIFA Club Intercontinental Cup 2025 on the occasion of signing Qatar International Islamic Bank’s sponsorship of these two tournaments, which once again confirm Qatar’s status as one of the world’s leading sports hubs.”

He noted, “We are proud of the sponsorship we are announcing today, which comes as part of our close cooperation and continuous support for Qatari sports. I would also like to highlight that today’s agreement builds on our longstanding partnership with the Qatar Football Association, as International Islamic Bank is the official sponsor of the national football teams and the Amir Cup for three years.”

The CEO said, “QIIB’s sponsorship of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 and the FIFA Club Intercontinental Cup 2025 aligns with our national role in supporting the major events hosted by Qatar, which reinforce its position as the capital of regional and international sports.

“At Qatar International Islamic Bank, we view this sponsorship as part of our unwavering commitment to serving our community, in line with our corporate direction and the Third Financial Sector Strategy launched by Qatar Central Bank, which emphasises governance, sustainability, and social responsibility. Sports, with their values and principles, represent a practical embodiment of these pillars.”
